We designed and produced a unique machined pen that utilized our actual EL01Y EnduroLink™ locking sleeve assembly to retract the ink cartridge.
To write with the pen, the locking mechanism at the top of the pen is depressed in a manner similar to any click-style pen function.
To retract the ink cartridge the EL01Y sleeve is pulled down in the direction of the writing end of the pen with the same motion used to disconnect our actual EnduroLink™ fuel coupler from the plug.
All pen components excluding the ink cartridge and springs are machined in-house on our CNC equipment out of aircraft grade aluminum and C360 Brass.
The Battlefield Pen is developed and offered to those involved with engineering, procurement and program management within UAV, Military Land Systems and Marine Industries.
