On April 18th 2021, Battlefield lost a very important member of our family. Darin Robinson was a man of integrity, soft spoken, humble and incredibly well liked by everyone he communicated with. He was task oriented and highly valued here for both his competence in his work, reliability and promptness as well as his ability to manage and mentor others including our owners son last summer. Darin had a great sense of humor and I would characterize it as the dry kind of humor. Our staff were in tears today in learning the news. We are praying for his family in finding ways to cope with this immeasurable loss.

Cam Minor and Steve Fenton enjoyed a great lunch today. We were celebrating Cam’s 15 years of excellent work with Team Battlefield. Cam joined us directly after high school and apprenticed as a Licensed Machinist and CNC Operator, programmer, setter. He became our Production Manager in charge of all parts production here. Cam’s conduct at Battlefield was at the highest level of integrity and he earned our trust. We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors. We love you Cam!
Battlefield International Inc. is thrilled to have Fadi Mishriky join our talented Design Team. In 2012 Fadi graduated from The German University in Cairo. Then, in 2014, completed his MS.c. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Dresden University of Technology in Germany. In the same year, Fadi started his PH.D. project at Ryerson University. The project was funded and supervised by Bombardier Inc. and aimed at developing morphing winglets for optimized aerodynamic performance. He graduated in 2018 with a perfect GPA, 13 articles published in international journals and conference proceedings, and was honoured with the Ryerson Gold Medal. The medal is the highest prestigious award that can be given to any graduate student. Fadi joined Honeywell International Inc. in 2017 as an Aircraft Modeling Engineer, where he worked on the Boeing B777x and a Northrop Grumman aircraft. He designed and developed the environmental control system on both aircraft. In 2019 he accepted a position at Pratt and Whitney as an Aerodynamics and Thermodynamics Engineer, working on the combustor module. Now, in 2020, he is very excited to start his role at Battlefield International Inc. as the Director of Engineering. The Battlefield team is equally excited to be working with Fadi and we are looking forward to a bright future ahead!
