COMPANY NEWS

To our Highly Valued USA Defense Customer's

Our entire Management team eating Texas toast in 2017 before our meeting with BAE Systems USA where we learned they had decided to begin switching to Canadian designed and produced Fluid Couplers for their US Land Systems programs. To Battlefield’s countless work-related friends, collaborators and customers located in the USA we offer you a poem, because I so often have come across a US Engineer or Designer who was sitting in a corner somewhere reading poetry (it never happened once): ATTITUDE by Charles Swindoll "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes” Since the second Trump Presidency, I have not always been able to clearly know the best stance to take, and I have missed the mark too often. But as a flawed but practicing Christian, I know I need to consider the very teachings of Christ through examining what mattered to Him. To disregard “doing what I want” or think makes sense or seems only fair”, and “do what I ought” and the way that looks was demonstrated to me through the very life of Jesus. I believe the USA government needed significant disruption to tackle open borders, get financially in better shape, get the freeloading countries like ours to seriously begin being better able to defend ourselves and not relying on the USA for our security. We believe our American friends should focus more on playing hockey better while Canada will focus on…. well…I will throw the baseball back and forth with the grandkids tonight for no apparent or obvious reason… When Tariffs hit, our sales to the very largest defense company’s have increased dramatically and are continuing to climb. Our number of customers has grown exponentially over the current Trump term. We will spend the loins share of our yearly profits in developing new technology and this company is not for sale but is officially generational. We promise to be truthful and conduct ourselves in a way that reveals our importance placed solidly on business integrity. We will never obsolete any product used in a military application and will continue to build on the solid relationships we highly value south of our border. We are proud of our of Canada just as you are and should be of yours. If any of our customers see any drop in our performance, let us know quickly so we can get it right. We are looking globally right now and securing contracts in Korea, Singapore, and Germany is next on our radar. God Bless the USA and God bless Canada too! Per: Steve Fenton Battlefield International Caretaker.

Battlefield International’s Curtis Watson visits key customer in Sweden

Our Curtis Watson visited with several BAE Systems staff today in Örnsköldsvik. We are currently producing some critically important fuel system valves for vehicles in production here. This highly valued customer had several key team members in Engineering and Supply Chain join this meeting to learn of the complete line of QD products we design and produce in Cayuga, that are rapidly becoming the global standard in the Land Systems industry. We look forward to a lengthy and mutually beneficial business relationship moving forward.
