Have you ever found yourself purchasing a fluid power or mechanical product that failed to meet your requirements? Most suppliers simply tell you your application is outside the specifications of their component and that is where their help ends. You have committed to the footprint of the failed part and there is no solution available from that same supplier. If it is not in their catalogue, it is not available. Your supplier just abandons you and you need to start all over with little chance of landing with something that fits in your available space claim.
You may experience having a Battlefield product that does not meet every aspect of your application as well. It has happened before. However, when this happens, we immediately go to work to find a way to overcome the challenge with the same footprint and at light speed. We have redesigned internals and externals and even used different materials when required to “get it right”.
You can count on Battlefield to do everything required to overcome unforeseen or unexpected technical challenges and take on your issue as if it’s our own. We carefully look at our product failure mode and rapidly redesign around that issue. To date, we have never faced a technical design failure of our products that we were unable to overcome to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

Northrop Grumman Bat
Bat™ is Northrop Grumman's family of affordable, medium altitude, multi-mission unmanned aircraft systems. This product line can be configured with differently-sized fuel tanks and different sensor payloads to meet ever-changing tactical missions, including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, target acquisition and communications relay. Additionally, the Bat has a blended body design, enabling a much larger payload volume (3.2 cubic feet) that allows it to carry more payload than other UAVs of its size.

Griffon Outlaw G2E
The G2 uses the same reliable engine, radio and autopilot control systems, servos, and other key components from the G1. Griffon has integrated those components into a larger, and more aerodynamically efficient fuselage. The G2 also flies with a brand new, structurally superior wing design. The key benefits of the new aircraft are enhanced visual signature, a 50% increase in payload area, twice the endurance, added maneuverability, and a top speed increase of 20%.
Griffon Outlaw Seahunter
SeaHunter was designed as a larger, cost effective UAV platform for ISR missions, system testing, R&D efforts, and payload development studies. Placed in the 250-300 lbs. max take-off weight (MTOW) UAV class, this airplane offers customers a unique product in the world of UAV systems.

Inspired by lessons learned from 25 years of pioneering in the field of small UAS, Insitu’s newest platform features an innovative design that doubles the payload capacity of previous ScanEagle blocks without compromising endurance.
Latitude HQ-60
The HQ-60 is a long endurance (12-24 hours) hybrid quadrotor unmanned air vehicle designed by Latitutude Engineering. The vertical launch and landing UAV features an 8 to 12 pound payload capacity.
GDLS-C LAV 700
The LAV 700 features state-of-the-art digital command and control architecture, including health and usage monitoring systems. The self-sealing fuel tanks, energy attenuating seats, add-on armour and scalable ballistic protection add to the increased survivability of the General Dynamics Land Systems double-VTM hull.
UAV Factory Penguin C
The Penguin C small unmanned aircraft is an excellent choice for cost-effective operations. The system is optimized for gyro-stabilized day and night payloads with weights under 2 kg (4.5 lb). The aircraft provides simple customized payload integration, the endurance of up to 20 h, radio link range of 100 km. The aircraft MTOW is 23 kg (50.7 lb).
BAE Silverfox
The Silver Fox is a gas-powered unmanned system. Capable of carrying electro-optical and infrared sensors, providing full-motion imagery for both day and night operations. The Silver Fox carries small payloads and performs autonomous takeoffs and landings.

Battlefield International’s Curtis Watson visits key customer in Sweden
Our Curtis Watson visited with several BAE Systems staff today in Örnsköldsvik. We are currently producing some critically important fuel system valves for vehicles in production here. This highly valued customer had several key team members in Engineering and Supply Chain join this meeting to learn of the complete line of QD products we design and produce in Cayuga, that are rapidly becoming the global standard in the Land Systems industry. We look forward to a lengthy and mutually beneficial business relationship moving forward.

Battlefield’s Curtis Watson is spending this week in Denmark at Orbex
Curtis Watson is on site in Denmark this week at Battlefield’s customer Orbex. Orbex designs and produces space ships. Curtis is working directly with key engineering team members of Orbex on a project which includes critical cryogenics couplings designed by Curtis, Lawrence Togeretz, and Jacob MaDonald.
