Our Curtis Watson visited with several BAE Systems staff today in Örnsköldsvik. We are currently producing some critically important fuel system valves for vehicles in production here. This highly valued customer had several key team members in Engineering and Supply Chain join this meeting to learn of the complete line of QD products we design and produce in Cayuga, that are rapidly becoming the global standard in the Land Systems industry. We look forward to a lengthy and mutually beneficial business relationship moving forward.
Battlefield International places a great deal of importance on culture. You can almost tell just from this picture that the same holds true for our highly valued Orbex team members who Curtis worked with this week. From left to right we have Ryan, Ryan, Anannaya, Zichen, Jonathan, and Curtis.
Curtis Watson is on site in Denmark this week at Battlefield’s customer Orbex. Orbex designs and produces space ships. Curtis is working directly with key engineering team members of Orbex on a project which includes critical cryogenics couplings designed by Curtis, Lawrence Togeretz, and Jacob MaDonald.
1. You can expect our pricing to remain steady with no planned increases due to tariffs, and with an additional effort on our part to remain as competitive as always. 2. The increase in our capacity has been our focus for the past three years, and we are presently just about ready to open our two new facilities. Critical delivery requirements should be easier to meet than ever before. 3. The tariffs set to begin early March 2025 on Canadian-produced steel (25%) and the same towards Canadian sourced aluminum shipped to the USA will not affect us in any way, nor should they affect our USA defense customers. This is because our product, purchased by you for your vehicles and aircraft, includes multiple materials that are heavily machined and formed, and includes seals, gripping balls, springs, and is shipped as a final assembly after testing. Regardless of whether we end up using US, Canadian, or any other DFAR’s compatible country aluminum or steel as a small part of the recipe of our final product, no tariffs should be triggered by your government or by ours now. 4. We made a commitment to “Never Obsolete Any Product Used in a Military Application.” I don’t break promises lightly. So even if things get right ugly between our two countries, if Trump reaches the part of his plan for Canada to induce “economic failure” on us so it can be absorbed or annexed into the USA, we will still move heaven and earth to meet your needs. 5. We are considered one of the most responsive suppliers to our customers around the globe. There are many reasons we are the preferred choice populating all the latest and most advanced UAV and Land Systems products. But I am asking our team here to be even more responsive than ever in looking after each of our US customer needs. Whether we get frustrated with trade changes by your government administration, or by any unforeseen new developments against Canada by the USA, we are setting that aside and will never forget YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER! 6. If the USA wins against Canada in the next hockey game this Thursday at 8:00 pm, please let me grieve for at least 24 hours before hopefully reaching out with sympathy in your tone, and I will try my best to congratulate you. ($%#&!) eh! Steve Fenton, Caretaker, Battlefield International Inc. Cayuga, Canada, God bless the USA
Should the USA pay Canada? Should our Tariff have been the same as Mexico? I challenge every Canadian and American to post these numbers on their feeds. They speak for themselves.
